Brigadier (Ret.) Peter Rafferty

Peter joined Galvion in 2015 having previously been Head of Land and Joint Systems at Raytheon UK. A former career infantry officer in the British Army for over 30 years, he held several senior leadership positions in capability management and procurement. He conceived of and led the development of the Integrated Soldier System Executive and was also Dismounted Close Combat Team Leader and Personal Combat Equipment Team Leader responsible for all UK forces’ soldier equipment. Peter’s experience extends across all aspects of programme delivery and through life support. In Galvion, as well as his current role, since 2015, he has also been President of the Armor Products Business Unit (2021-2023), led the Vehicle Power Product Business (2017-2021) and was Chief of Staff, Galvion Inc (2020-2023).
